so my router has been flashing orange for about 3 days ive tried countless things online and to behonest some of this stuff does not make sense to me. But currently my modem is working thats how im connected to the internet. but when i connect the router i have no internet access all i get is Local area network configuration dosent have valid ip adress .. please help?!

Well it sounds like your router is not talking to your modem.
How knowledgeable are you with setting up the router to work with your modem?
This is key as there are some things you need to set up for this to work.
Also, is this router a new addition to your set up?

No it's. Not. a new addition. Just was working fine and one day the flashing lights turned on and we were No longer able to Connect. To the. Internet.
