Hi,
I recently installed windows 8 on a separate partition in my hard drive (the other partition had my old win7 OS, which I was looking to replace). The installation was successful and, with both win7 and win8 installed I was able to dual boot into the win 8 OS. I then proceeded to format the other partition. However, now my computer is unable to boot.
Now, I was under the impression that operating systems came with boot files, but apparently this is not so? Or perhaps there is some other issue here.
