Finished building my first high-budget computer last night, but as I powered it, no Image was fed to the monitor, "no signal detected", and I get the Q code error "76" on the Motherboard LED.

Reading the manual the problem is described with "PCH DXE initialization problem".

I'm using the ASUS Maximus V Gene, along with: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 4GB | Intel® Core i7-3770K Processor | Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600 MHz 16GB Black | Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB 2.5" OEM | Seagate Barracuda® 2TB | Corsair CX 600W PSU | Lite-On DVD±RW Writer, iHAS124.

Was going to ask this on the ASUS ROG forums first, but the account registration is not working for me

I suggest taking the board outside the case, leaving only CPU and CPU fan installed, starting the board and checking again the q-code.
The CPU is supported, so it isn't about a BIOS update issue.
You can also firstly try testing inside the case with a minimum configuration (one RAM module, keyboard, mouse and DVD drive), if you haven't already.

i've tried unplugging one at a time and booting every time, nothing works, but haven't tried without the GPU yet, as I was having problems removing it at the time, but I currently doubt it will fix anything. will try to remove it later, in the meantime, do you know any other possible reasons for this error?
