Hi, I want to buy SSD. But, I have to get preparation first to make SSD more longer life and optimal.

So this is the question, I like modding the games. But I am thinking how much writing task on SSD when I mod my games. I will placing the game to the SSD to make it loading faster.

So, give me a tips to modding a games when I have SSD to make SSD longer life.

Even if you write about 10GB worth of data to your SSD each day, it will hold out for years. There's a Dutch website called Hardware.info who's doing an absolute torture test on some Samsung SSDs. In under a month, they've simulated years of heavy duty use and they are still going strong.

how big are the files? i believe several review sites already calculated the life span (theoretically of course) of an ssd based on these write cycles. it will last for years i believe (5 i think, cannot remember, sorry)
this is based on a 100gb per day. that is intel's claim, i believe the target was 20gb.

but with that, 20gb is a lot for most people.

again, take this with a grain of salt, and these are theoretical

Usually small to large (few kilobytes to gigabytes)
