Is it possible for N00b to put Hardware together and build it manually?

Hi guys,so just recently i have configured my PC and i am going to buy it soon.I have been thinking,if its not so difficult to manually build everything instead of getting technical help of some local computer shops,why can't i try?Yes i am newbie at such things,but not dumb i can learn and think,so is it possible for me to build everything myself without any help?
Note:I am not going to overclock anything,i just want my PC to function correctly
Here is my build:
CPU Core i5 3570k 3.4Ghz Quad-Core
MOBO ASrock z77 Extreme6
GPU Sapphire radeon HD 7950 3gb With Boost 850/925mhz
RAM Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 2x4GB
Optical Drive ASUS 24X DVD Burner
HDD Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive
PSU XFX ATX 550 Power Supply
CaseNZXT Guardian Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Case

Edit: I have 1 more question : what is the best UPS for XFX ATX 550 Power Supply http://www.amazon.com/XFX-ATX-550-Power-Supply/dp/B004RJ8EKI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1368096479&sr=1-1&keywords=XFX+ATX+550+Power+Supply Budget is under or around 50-100$

Yeah of course, its not very hard these days! Theres lots of videos on youtube you can follow as well.

Looks like a nice system, but I would recommend a SSD for your boot drive as well, they make the system so much faster in boot up and generally using windows.

Cant help with the UPS sorry.

as u have already said u wont be overclocking then getting a i5-3570k will not be a sensible decision
go with a i5-3470 with a b75 MoBo as u won't be overclocking and u won't notice the difference any way
and invest the money saved in a better gpu

Thanks for your reply,i will definetely go with Crucial m4 128GB or Samsung pro series SSD if budget will allow me,unfortunately i can only afford under or around 1200-1250$

if you arent going to overclock, like the above poster stated, dont get a k chip and a z77 board. they are just wasted. unless you want to overclock which isnt that hard either.

your build looks pretty good. only thing id change is the case to a corsair 200R at newegg

as RobCrezz says it is not hard to build a pc. watch some building video's with that hardware you are gonna buy.

Get a CM 212 evo it is a good and cheep CPU cooler.
OC ! or you dont need a 3570k. if you are buying a "k" version you want to OC.
OC the CPU it is essy

Thanks for trying to help me out,i forgot to mention that i may need to overclock it later in future and i am low on budget i can't afford any better GPU

Thank you for reply,i was suggested to get that cooler instead of stock core i5 3570k ,but i am really low on budget,i may rethink if it wont be enough to cool down stock 3.4Ghz speed,but i doubt that
