So I overclocked my i5-3570k to 4,2 Ghz(Overclocked with oc genie 2) and my colermaster evo 12 fan is basically going Crazy for a couple of seconds. Now i've turned of oc genie 2 because i'm worried. please help me?!?!?

Specs: i5-3570k, corsair TX 750m, MSI z77a-gd65, EVGA gtx 660 ti, kingston hyper X 1600 Mhz, samsung 830 ssd 120gb boot drive, nzxt phantom 410.

what is the temperature on your CPU cores when you OCed? your fan is supposed to "go crazy" and spin at max speed. unfortunately the fans on the coolermaster evo are not exactly top-notch and can get a bit loud, but if your CPU temperatures are under 75C, you're perfectly fine.

The temperature was around 40-45 C, but i mean it was a very loud sound, I thought something would brake. And that's why I underclocked it immediately.

well, if the temperatures are fine, then that means you mounted the CPU cooler correctly. the only thing that's suspicious would be your fan mounts, make sure they're tight and not wobbly, otherwise you can get lots of noise form vibrations. Otherwise maybe just try a different fan.

To be honest these things are supposed to be fairly loud, in an open case, it's not usual to get around 40+dba of noise from maxed fans on a cm212, that's louder than conversaion voice...
