Hey there, I recently all the necessary components to build a pc from Newegg. After a couple of hours of assembly, I booted it up and I am unable to get any display on my http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236312 . I moved the monitor to another computer and I do in fact get a display. Thus how I am writing this thread. All fans are spinning, 4 pin cpu power cord is plugged in, ( It was an 8 pin that came with the PSU, I didn't realize that the 8 pin splits into two 4 pins ) The 24 pin power is plugged in also. I was working in a static free enviorment ( Tile floors and workspace ) So I don't think I could have damaged any components. Could It possibly be shorted? Should I try to reset the CMOS? Thanks !!

You need to specify if you have a video card... if you got one you need to plug the monitor into the GPU output, not the mother board.

Also once I was adding extra RAM to my pc and it kinda happened the same, try turning it on with just a single RAM and connect the output to the mother board, without the video card.... in case you have one... if it works stick the video card and try once again...
