Hi, I've been thinking about upgrading my 660ti and I'm interested on the GTX Titan. Do you guys think that's a bit too overkill? Should I just get a 680 or 660ti SLI? Let me know. Thanks

Here are my specs:
CPU: i-5 3570k OC@4.1 Ghz
CPU cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 evo
GPU: msi GTX 660ti PE
Mobo: Asrock z77 Extreme 4
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB
Power supply: Rosewill HIVE series 650w 80+ Gold
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 600t

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 690 uses more power and produces more heat than the Titan. And yes, it is for gaming

you are correct. but titan is actually less powerful than GTX 690.i suggest you to read this review on titan http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-titan-performance-review,3442.html it might be helpful on whether picking titan or GTX 690.

that depends on how much res are u playing on and what type of gaming.

the titan doesnt worth the money as the gtx 690 is about 10-15% faster.

in my opinion if u get 2 hd7970 GE u will get better performance than gtx690 or titan or even gtx680 sli

1. ur cpu is a beast and can run every game for 3-4 more years and wont bottleneck it
2.For psu... Sorry for the bad news but it requires at least a 750w psu like this one here but any way try running it, if every thing is stable and good then ur fine, if not try the psu which i mentioned b4

but if u can wait a little for 780 as the guy above me said, it will be really good due to lower power consumption and lower price as well and maybe more perf/price.
