First Of all, I'm in a Tight Budget, cuz all the money which em going to spend r from my Pocket Money.... So a Single amount of money is very highly valuable as it values me alot!!!

I just wanted to ask If I go with 2gb GPU inspite of 1gb gpu....
Actually Flipkart was first selling "Sapphire ATI/AMD HD 6670 1gb DDR3 for Rs.4750, But after being went from "Out Of Stock", the price has went up from Rs.4750 to Rs.5000...
So I Just Think y not I buy 2gb graphic card instead of 1gb as the price difference is just Rs.350 which I can afford to buy from my pocket money....
Flipkart Sapphire 2gb ddr3 is for Rs.5345.

If any Other good card is available till Rs.5500, then also pls recommend me that!!

The 6670 will work quite well if you're looking into a budget system. The difference between the 1gb and 2gb version is very slim, and you won't see any actual real world performance boosts. But if you so desire, go ahead and go for it!

the 6670 is not strong enough to utilize 1gb of vram, let alone 2. don't waste the scratch on a 2gb card.

^ This is your answer.

A GTX 670 which is a fairly high-end GPU can just utilize its 2 GB of vram. So the chance of a Radeon 6670 can do it is quite low. :)

There are different RAM types. The higher the number, the better the performance.

Example:

DDR5 is faster than DDR3.

The difference between 1 GB of VRAM and 2 GB of VRAM is basically like the RAM you have on your MOBO. The only difference is, that it is used on the GPU.

If you think about it, a GPU is actually a mini PC just for visuals. A GPU contains a PCB (Motherboard), it contain cores with speed (CPU) and it contains VRAM with speed (RAM).

get the 1gb gddr5 ram version. you'll get a modest (10%-30%) boost over the ddr3 verson.

It seems as if you don't get what I'm saying.

I said that DDR5 is faster than DDR3, and the GPU itself can utilize 2 GB of RAM. Then how can't you figure out that it's the DDR5 version? Just kidding mate - Hardware can't be hard to get into sometimes. :)

JUST UNDERLINE MY STATEMENT, CHOOSE THE DDR5 1 GB VERSION, IT IS FASTER.

I have a Radeon 6670 DDR3 1 GB and I find my memory usage is usually between 400-800 MB depending on what I am doing. If you run out of VRAM it will just use a part of your shared system RAM. In any case, the highest I have ever seen is 1100MB used and that was just a peak.

2GB is most likely not worthwhile for resolutions that a 6670 can run.
