Hello everyone. I recently just upgraded my pc with an msi 970a g43 board and amd fx-4350 cpu. Im only getting a 6.5 in my windows index now, (was 6.6 with my stock dell core 2 duo) I also have a msi gtx660ti 3gb card all on a 575w psu. Is the lower score due to not having enough power? A dell d1000p is on the way. Also my psu only has a 4 pin atx plug for the cpu power socket on the motherboard , but the motherboard has an 8 pin socket. Maybe this is an issue. Another note, in cpuz, it shows 2 cores and 2 threads, If im not mistaken, it is supposed to be 4 cores and 4 threads right? Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Try updating your BIOS to newest version.

Additionally, you need a better PSU, you're not properly connected to the board, and so I can imagine things are not operating properly. That's a simple enough fix though.

EDIT: Yes, should read 4 cores 4 threads

Havent reinstalled windows yet. Using windows 7 pro. I saw in the bottom left corner that windows was reinstalling files and ect, once I powered up and reset a couple times after installing my drivers. I wonder why cpuz is showing 2 cores and 2 threads. Think a dell 1000w n1000p will do?
