How is this mobo: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=2...

The reason I ask is because I don't plan on OC'ing and that I do not want to pay for shipping on the ASrock MoBo. (I will be using the "Will Call" option).

Should I just go for a cooler master chassis to save up on some money?

The total cost of this rig is just a little over $1000.00 (Canadian) not including monitor and keyboard. My main purpose is obviously for gaming, with a little bit of video rendering.

How is this system on par with modern games? Will I be able to play on ultra settings in 1080p, with hopefuly 60fps or more? Skyrim, ME series, Bioshock Infiniti, Minecraft, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, BF3, Crysis 3, Diablo 3, DayZ, SC2 etc.

It is a great build and will blow the consoles away.

Drop the CPU cooler and change to an h77 motherboard because you cannot overclock that CPU.

Also, get 128gb SSD or drop it.

It should play all games at high or max no problems.

Is there a huge amount of difference in speed/load times if I do not go with an SSD?

Games will not play any better. It will just load faster. The system will boot faster, but that it about it.

I don't use an SSD and I have never thought load times were long or anything.

Yep. The PS4s GPU is supposed to still be VLIW4 which is pretty much inferior to GCN. The CPU is a Jaguar CPU so that's pretty much meh. The GPU is OK, probably about the speed of a HD7830 if they ever made it.

The demo they showed off looks to me to be about equal to Crysis 1 graphics so its nothing major TBH. Anyone with a Sandy Bridge/Bulldozer CPU, GTX6/HD7 series GPU and 8GB of RAM will be better than PS4/XBOX 720.

I'll take your word for it. The reason I was asking because, I was doing some research, and some people on other forums said that the GPU of the PS4 was equal to an HD 7850 or 7870 (I'm pretty certain that is what I read of what people said). Appreciate your feedback.

Tiny, what you aren't factoring in is what makes SSDs addicting, which is that the entire computer becomes much, MUCH more responsive. It's not quantifiable, it's a "feel" sort of thing, but since you haven't experienced it, I'll tell the OP that once you try it, you won't want to go back.

Thanks for your feedback. Surely, the SSD I opted is more than enough to store the OS, correct?

Yes, just don't expect to put more than maybe 1 game on it. I would recommend a Crucial M4 or Samsung 840 PRO or OCZ vertex 4
