Yeah, I think you will see some bottle necking, but its probably not something that a good OC won't help, though you may still get one. That cpu should overclock pretty well too, just make sure you cool it well (even a CoolerMaster 212 will do it). Intel is a better CPU, but sometimes, we've got what we've got. I ran a 965BE for a while and it never failed me even though Intel's chips are faster. I, like most people, upgrade one area at a time. If your budget can handle a platform move, I would wait until next month for the new Haswell chips and boards to come out and do the gpus later, like third quarter if you can.
Well, the performance difference is pretty small, 10% maybe, for that extra cash outlay, which is another extra hundred bucks. You may be better off spending that money elsewhere in your PC. For example, an SSD, more memory, a better heatsink for your cpu, etc.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback. Ive done some research and apparantly the new 700 series should be out soon. If the new 770s are what they claim to be, ill be looking forward to that. Or 760ti which is pretty much a tweaked 670. Ill wait for that plus the new intels and mobos. Just got to rack up some overtime at work.
