splitters? which one should i use

I have a splitter that is silver and is rated 1-1002 Mhz and another 2 way splitter that is digital and i guess gold plated rated at 2-2500 Mhz...can anyone one tell me which one would be the best splitter to use? The silver one is PCT and the gold one is GE

Definitely the gold one by specs.
We don't know what brand they are but the gold one has two and one half the bandwidth of the first one.

In that case both are ok brands definitely go with the GE or gold one. Especially if you are using it for high speed cable service.
