Under normal load, my PC seems fine.
When I play an MMORPG, after about 10 minutes, my system powers down then starts up again right away.
Upon self-restart it has powered down again once or twice.

I am not sure if it is the PSU or motherboard.
To me, when I place my hand on the PSU (the case of it, not the computer case), it is quite hot. It feels like a car that has been sitting in the sun for a while. I can hold my hand on it a few seconds before it is too hot for me.
I have no way of seeing how hot it is unfortunately.

I have noticed that my computer is also a little slow...instead of scrolling fluidly through a webpage, it hangs up a little.

I have used PC Wizard 2010. Here is an image.
I cannot post an image -- please look at it :(

One of the TMPin seems pretty hot, but I am not sure what that is. The temperature going into what?

Is there anyway to know my PSU is too hot?

specs:
Intel Core i7, 3.2 GHz
12.GB RAM
64-bit OS

graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

I checked all the memory sticks. The computer starts and runs on each of them, so the RAM is fine.

I had this problem once. It seems that your PSU is going bad. Just check if your PSU fan is spinning or not. If not then replace it at once. BTW what is your PSU make, and how old is it?

Current PSU: ATX CB800W (piece of junk) haha
I'm going to get a Thermaltake SMART series 850w ATX. I hope that is okay? :-/
I got the computer from CyberPower about 2 years ago.
Last night when I was shutting down my PC for the night, I felt the PSU box again. This time it was so hot I had to remove my hand right away. The computer had been idle for a while, so I'm now 99% sure it's the PSU! lol

Thank you for replying.

Cyberpower "standard" PSU's are... well to put it nicely, "iffy" at best. The TT Smart 850 will (normally I would write "should" there) perform much better

I changed out my PSU tonight. Even while in game, it was still cool to the touch. My other PSU would have been really hot. I hope that resolved my issues! :)  thanks for the help
