It's been a long awaited build, but in that time i've done alot of research but nothing practical until 2 days ago when my stuff came in. ANYWAYS!

I got it up and running, installed all the drivers (not just from the cd but from the respected websites) ran everything through its torture tests and benchmarks. No problems were noted so i went and installed a game i previously played on my older pc, war thunder! At first i could play it for about 1-2 minutes before getting BSODs, so i removed and re-installed the GPU drivers. That fixed the BSODs but now i'll get 160-180 FPS on max settings and out of nowhere it'll freeze and then drop to 90-100 fps for a minute or so and then freeze and drop to 20-30 FPS. After it gets that low it'll completely freeze or i'll get a black screen and locked up. I'm not sure what the issue could be. Any insight?

GPU overheating? Watch the temps in MSI afterburner.

i dont think so, ill double check when i get home but i wanna say it was no less than 70c. Does msi afterburner record and saves the temp after it crashes?

the sudden fps drops mostly caused by over heating; check ur cpu/gpu temp and fan also check the hdd ones.

here is a useful programs:-
for the cpu:Core Temp
for the hdd:HDDlife Pro v4
for the gpu:Gpu Temp

i dont think its a heat issue, i just posted my cpuz validation and i've got the hardware monitoring files from when i played and the gpu never got over 66c and cpu never got over 48c. so i did unigine valley benchmark and with that on ultra settings i get it to 70c. and the hdd got to 28c

when the fps drops, check ur cpu/gpu freq.

when i play games on my [3 years old] laptop the fps drops suddenly
exactly like u,then i checked the cpu freq. i found it 800mhz.
i dont know why or how to solve this.

u need to ask an expert.
