Hi,
This is a problem I have no clue how to solve and I believe it is something unique to my (somewhat old) computer, but I do believe it is solvable. It is very frustrating, and has been going on for a while only just now have I reached my end with it. When I play video, whether it be through YouTube or VLC my computer will freeze for a minute or two, the video will play again, and then do the same thing, rinse and repeat until eventually it goes away. Sometimes I just give up. Sometimes I can watch video for an hour straight without a hiccup, but more than likely I'm gonna face this freeze glitch. It is not just the video that stops, but the whole computer because unusable. Then after an annoying period of time it will burst back to life and work again.

Where do we start in fixing this?
Anyone who helps me, a sincere thank you.

i would suspect a PSU or not enough voltage in ram (ram is totally random crash and PSU over time degrade and can cause some voltage spikes or voltage isn't accurate and that crash a sensible component like ram or the cpu but it's not detected by windows and don't "pop" a BSOD...)

PS: had this issue when overclocking and that was the ram voltage that wasn't set properly...
