Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: This month surely

Budget Range: 1000-1500 usd or something lower

System Usage from Most to Least Important: I use my computer mostly for entertainment purposes like Games (mostly) and movies. I do use use photoshop and after effects from time to time, and sometimes do a little bit of animation using Maya software.

Are you buying a monitor: Nope

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: I'm from the Philippines but i do have relatives from Clifton,New Jersey that can bring it here just in case we don't have it here.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No , single GPU would be fine (Since i heard a powerful single GPU is always better than SLI/CrossFired ones)

Your Monitor Resolution: I think im using a 1600x900 monitor, but i do connect it to my HDTV.

Additional Comments: This will be my first build ever and im really new to this. Im not even sure if these are compatible and if its worth the money. I would appreciate it if we can shave the price more replacing parts with similar performance ones.

Im also an IT student and probably future developer. Its something i could use as a workstation maybe while training or in the future :D

Also, can this max out most games available now? and how long do you think will this rig's lifespan lasts being usable until needing to upgrade? Is this future proof?

I would really appreciate the help :) Thanks guys

looks good to me. everything is solid. It will play all games on max settings. (aside from crysis 3 with everything cranked up to the max). As for the lifespan, prob 2 years until you'd want an upgrade (gpu) but even then it would still be a good pc.

Are your relatives in NJ buying that CPU from Micro Center for you? If not, it will run about $100 more. If so, I would recommend having them grab you a Phantom 630 (only $40 more than the original Phantom at Micro Center) when they do.

Edit: That rig will max almost all presently available games. Actually, at your resolution, it may well max all of them.

Oh okay, but is the case really that important to improve on? i thought its just aesthetics haha. but anyways. whats the difference between the normal phantom and 630 ones O.O

Case makes quite a bit of difference, actually. A case with very good airflow can cool upwards of 5C more than a case with poor airflow. That said, the Phantom is by no means a poorly designed case, it's just the older version. The 630 has things like USB 3.0, and (to my understanding), slightly better cooling/radiator support.
