I have the following problem. There are some servers in our production which can be only be maintained a few times per year. Additionally the vendor does not allow to install any kind of software or change settings for making backups.
The only chance we have is creating ghost images.
Presently we are using a USB disk and taking the image needs 10-12 hours.
Do you know of a faster way to make that image?
Maybe a possible external hotplug adapter which can use SAS to an SDD?
Any other ideas?
If we could backup within 1-2 hours it would be a dream.
