Looking for a good gaming mouse

I have recently started to get into computer gaming and i have been looking for a mouse i want it to have a few programable buttons and muttiple dpi setting that can be changed easily and quickly in game also i am looking at the microsoft x4 sidewinder for a keyboard is this a decent one?

It's a very subjective topic. You should try a few out at your local store and see what ones feel right. If you have a better idea of the shape of mouse we can recommend a good mouse of a similar shape.

ring ringer shelf= sexy
i use the storm spawn/claw or finger grip, works well for me in spite of the horrible dpi steps(my last mouse fare more customizeable)
might be worth waiting to see if next gen CM mice are better.
