If you are trying to stick with AMD CPUs, I would say out right the answer is no. I attched an article that compares 18 CPUs all under $200. I would recommend going with and Intel CPU but thats just me.

If you want good bang for your buck while sticking with AMD, I'd go with the Phenom II X4 980 or the 965 as they are cheapest, and yet still deliver great performance.

I guess I'm still struggling to understand the FX6350. The only reason I can see for this CPU to exist is for people who don't want to overclock at all. Your question was rather subjective so I'm not sure what you would consider to be "worth it". Are you going to be using this PC for gaming? video encoding? sending email to granny on Sundays? Regardless of its intended purpose, ask yourself a couple of questions first to make your decision easier. Do you ever plan to overclock your CPU? If not then of course buy the FX6350. If you do plan to overclock at some point in the future, I would recommend the FX6300 over the Phenom II x4 965. I have both CPUs and the FX63xx is quite a bit faster and much more efficient than any Phenom II that is still available. If you do plan on overclocking but your not interested in the FX6300 at all then the Phenom II would be the next best thing. Its less efficient and runs hotter than the Vishera based chips but its still a good CPU.
