Ok so I recently picked up a GTX 670 Gigabyte Windforce. Happy with the card. I did a 3DMark test yesterday and I got some pretty poor results and not really sure why. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas why? Here is the link to my test results.

I believe it isnt the card but it stated that people with similar rigs were getting 7 to 8000 scores where as I was only getting 6010. Is my cpu the bottleneck or is it something else? Thanks for any assistance you can provide. I believe all of my system stats should be in the 3DMark score. If not let me know and I'll provide whatever is required.

Also wanted to add that the unknown drivers are just the beta drivers 320.00 I believe. The ones released for riptide.

Hi
Cause they OC the GPU to have 6993 than 6010 pints http://www.3dmark.com/compare/3dm11/6551397/3dm11/59414...
And this one is OC GPU also for 8035 than 6010

- you can try get this 2 x 2048 MB Corsair 9 @ 667 MHz out - they hold you down for 667MHz
- other 2 x 4096 MB G.Skill 9 @ 800 MHz are running on lower frequency cause that ...

Have you tried it with the latest stable drivers?

Its 100% your processor. 3DMark still tests the CPU, yours isn't quite as strong as an 3570k or 8350 (what people usually pair a 670 with). Nothing wrong with the card, but if you feel performance is lacking then a CPU replacement is the way to go, or overclock.

What CPU and MOBO would you recommend? Can I get a decent upgrade for under $300? I just bought the card and a 2TB hd like last week so I don't have tons of money left in my budget.

I`m dissagree here !

If you wish to go over the GPU score what you do ?
You OC you GPU
If you test you system with 3D mark what you do if you wish more score ?
You OC you CPU or GPU or CPU and GPU
Look on the links i got above - they are with the same CPU and GPU as Slangston have !

Slangston do you have GAMING performance issu or you just playing arround with scores ?
If you lac of GAME PERFORMANCE wich game ?
