GTX 660 Ti Power Edition Vs 660 Ti FTW

I was wondering whether I should get a GTX 660 Ti Power Edition or FTW, I originally planned on getting a 670 FTW or Power Edition but I need to upgrade my PSU as well, so I tacked off $100. I'm gonna be playing games like BF3, Crysis 3, and BF4 (when it comes out) at 1920x1080. So which one should I go with? Thanks.

The only real difference is the cooler. The 660 Ti FTW has a very similar cooler to the reference model cards which has one small fan and it pushes the hot air out of your case. While being effective in tight quarters where air flow is limited, it is also quite noisy.

The 660 Ti PE instead comes with a fully custom cooling solutions with two larger fans that expel the hot air both inside and outside of your case. As a result this is much easier on the ears.

The EVGA step-up program and good warranty is something to consider, but I'd pick the MSI Power Edition any day just because it's so quiet... And if you don't care about elevated noise levels, go for the EVGA.

Well it is a bit quieter than MSI's PE... They're both entirely valid options, but I see no point in getting the Asus 660 Ti, unless you're going for an almost completely silent build as you won't be able to really hear the 660 Ti PE over your system fans either in most cases.

It's all about VRM phases ... For the 670, I'd want at least 8, for the 660 Ti, Id want at least 6

Asus has 6
MSI has 5+2
EVGA SC / FTW has 4

$280 for the MSI 660 Ti PE edges the Asus in this case
$310 for the MSI 7950
