how to start the live stream of microphone in win 8 as we can start in windows XP through properties there is no option available in win 8 HELP!!!

Right click the little icon of a speaker in the task bar --> select "recording devices."

Highlight your microphone in the list by left clicking on it --> click "set default," then click the properties button in the bottom right.

Go to the "listen" tab --> check off the box that says "listen to this device" --> click apply. Leave the drop down menu set to default.

Plug in an audio cord to the headphone jack. Hook the other end into your stereo or speaker. Done.

no bro it is not recording it is live Broadcast such that we can use or laptop in presentations or in a home function after attaching the sound blaster with laptop we can use our mic to broadcast voice to speakers in real time in Functions as i mentioned....
hope you understand..!!!!
