Hi all,

I have interrogated the forum and followed all of the good advice posted I can find but I cannot seem to get my new build to boot.

From checking all the items posted on the forum, I turn on the PC, the first front led illuminates then goes off leaving the second front panel led illuminated solid.

The mb LEDs light up and go out (red led for CPU, red led for RAM), the green led showing standby power stays on.

The DVD drive whirs into action.

The hdd is doing nothing, but it has nothing on it either.

I see nothing on the monitor, attached via mb VGA port. Monitor says no signal detected.

System fans continue to perform, and the system does not reboot, everything just continues without anything on the display.

Any ideas to help a frustrated builder?

Saying you checked the forums is unfortunately not good enough, we need to know what you actually did. Most people posting this question haven't even followed the guide before asking. There's a 99.999% chance that will fix you're issue, and it's a much better way to try and find your problem.

Also when asking for help you really need to list all your system information/components. For instance I have no idea if you have a dedicated GPU, and if you do plugging the display into the motherboard is wrong and won't display anything. Of course that's also covered very early in the guide.
