I'm installing lot of video surveillance systems with DVRs connected to Internet. I set port forwarding in router's setup (DDNS service is set in DVR) and everything works fine until ISP remotely resets router to factory default settings, which happens from time to time. Is there a way to make some kind of a script which could automatically set port forwarding back in such a case. Routers are Thomson TG782i, Gigaset SX763 and Thomson Speedtouch ST780i

Well, in fact the router is not completely reset to factory default. PPOE and WLAN settings are not changed, but other settings are reset (port forwarding, DDNS, DMZ just to name the ones I'm using).
I never found out why ISP (T-com) does that, but it seems that this happens while updating the firmware. Using configuration restore option looks like a good solution at first glance, but it doesn't cover later setup changes (after me), and needs skilled person to perform a task. I'm looking for an automated procedure which could be performed by clicking an icon or even be scheduled and done automatically.
