How do I undervolt my Phenom II X4 955 BE? Its currently running 1.408 V when idle... have not checked load though. I went into BIOS to try to change it and it gives me a option to use either Manual or Offset Voltage (currently at offset). What voltage should i use and should I use Offset or manual?

Im kind of nooby so can someone simply explain what offset voltage is?

It might depend on mobo, but I would think that using Manual voltage will disable Cool'n'Quiet and C1E energy saving feature.

As for best voltage, I would suggest to make sure that Cool'n'Quiet is enabled and then use Offest to drop the voltage a bit, then test stability and adjust accordingly.

For reference, I keep my 1055T at 3.5GHz downvolted to ~1.38v load (stock 2.8GHz is at ~1.42v) and idle (with Cool'n'Quiet enabled) drops to 1GHz and 1.16v (stock 800Mhz at ~1.28v). That's with offset value at ~ -0.06v.

So X4 should be a bit lower than that, especially if it is not oc'ed (but I suspect that the 1.408v you see is load voltage as BIOS does not show idle values).
