The GTX 670MX is significantly faster than the other two. The 750M is basically an overclocked 650M, potentially with faster memory as well.

I agree with Sakkura. The 670M will obliterate the other two in terms of graphics power.

Careful. The 670M and the 670MX are very different. The devil is in the details with these modern naming schemes.

It's the 670MX.

I'm trying to decide between the Sager NP9150 or the Lenovo Ideapad Y500

Well.. That changes things a bit. The Y500 has TWO of the 650Ms. Im not sure how that compares to a single 670MX.

Depends on which Y500 it is. It comes in many different versions with different hardware configurations.

Laptop makers really do everything they can to confuse the heck out of people.

Yea, I've been doing research for about 5months now about which specs are good and what's not. Here's the specs of this Lenovo Y500($1349)

Processor
3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor( 2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB)
operating system
Windows 8 64
graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT650M GDDR5 2GB
Memory
8.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz
display
15.6" FHD LED Glossy Wedge 1920x1080
Pointing device
Industry Standard Multi-touch 2 button touchpad
hard drive
1TB 5400RPM+16GB SSD

What do you think about it?

If its that price with only a single 650m go to newegg. I have seen 3 or 4 Y500s on there and they ALL have SLI 650M GPUs. Even the $900 one. Here, this is the top end Y500 from what I have seen, and its $1249 with 16GB RAM. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Newegg is fantastic. Its one of, if not the best, sites to buy computers and computer parts from. Ive been buying stuff from them for a long time. Shipping is fast, prices are great, customer service is amazing.

You have been much help:)  Now one last question about Newegg. Is it a safe site to purchase from? My parents got their identity stolen one time which has made me SUPER cautious about purchasing stuff online. I rarely if never do it.

Maybe Newegg will be the rebirth of me buying stuff online again?

Ill answer that for ya, just use Paypal. Paypal is very convenient and safe. But even if you dont use payapl...id trust newegg with my credit card info.
