Hi i am planing my new rig and have it all pretty much sorted, but im not sure on what OS i should buy. i have watched some reviews ect: but what i cant find any information on is how easy is it to mod on windows 8 or is it the same as windows 7. any help would be amazing thanks :)

well i intend to use mods on my games such as skyrim, gta ect; but i was told by someone that the way in which you mod games (installing unofficial software to modify the game) is harder than it is to mod games on windows 7.
is there any truth behind?

i think you got the wrong idea, i ment such mods in skyrim like the once where you can fly dragons and stuff like that.

im having a pretty hard time modding Europa univerasils 3 ive had a horrible time with windows 8, people say I have to just get used to it. But like say when im modding a game I try to go into program filesx64, and it says im not allowed, but that's where all of my games are, so I cant go into the file to mod my games, with the zipping add ons. so it makes a incredibly hard time to mod some of the games. like modding eu3 into meiou. total conversions are almost impossible, windows 8 fuck you. stick with 7 until 10 comes out.
