A slightly odd/atypical question.
I have some experience with Windows Server (2000 through, recently 2012) and as I student I can get Windows Server for free, but only one install of it, so no do-overs.
I'm building a gaming rig, and besides the temptation of a free copy of Windows, I would be somewhat interested in playing around with the server features for a few reasons.
However there's one major factor: is Windows Server 2012 inferior to Windows 8 to any degree of significance for gaming? Anyone know any issues with it as far as this goes?
