I do believe the point of the assignment is to find the answer yourself not ask somebody to do it for you.

What's the point of us doing it for you? You're the one that obviously wants to learn about it by taking the class.

Google is your friend.

Hahahahaha, oh man, I'm not sure. Can anyone tell this guy what the hard drive of a Pentium 4 is? Hahaha, I haven't been this entertained in a while.

Here's a hint: the Pentium 4 is a series of CPUs.

Firstly dude, I'm a girl not a guy and secondly I asked because I thought I would get help so I'm sorry you find it amusing as I am a first time student trying to educate myself unlike you not everyone is as clued up about computers and I learnt that I will get smarter for asking if I don't know something more than a proud person who will act like they know when they don't. If you had nothing to say then I suggest next time...save it for the open mic stand-up comedy!

FYI this is not the actual assignment, I asked this as part of the research of the assignment but I see you're a know-it-all so I will just pay no attention to you no more. I needed specifications compatible with a pentium 4 and I got a number of CPUs and I'm comparing it to other pentiums (2 & 3)...you know what I don't know why I'm even explaining myself. :sarcastic:

Wow - "educate" and "learnt" in the same sentence.

The entire purpose of the assignment is to teach you how to do research.

One of my college professors once told me you don't have to memorize every formula. He said "Look at the wall of books behind my desk do you think I know everything in them? Of course not. I have memorized what I use every day but otherwise I know how to look up and use what's found in those books".

Finding information on the Pentium 4 is really hard -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium#Pentium_4

By the way you worded your question you should start by learning the basic parts of a computer.

Doing the research yourself will teach you a lot more than just asking the community.

People feel too entitled today - RANT OFF.

Thanks for the link...I guess I was on the right track because I went to the same website when I googled it I just wasn't sure it's what I'm looking for. And yes I agree on me having to learn to do the research myself and I thought asking the community is part of that. Anyway I have learnt something from this and I do already have the info I need on basic parts of a computer, I just wasn't sure about this specific thing.
