Should I upgrade? Or wait for next year.

Well, I'm going to get 250-300$

I currently have the HD 7770

It's still pretty decent for the games I play, I can run them on ultra but I have a feeling it's going to get worse soon, I'm already starting to have problems recording it's dipping low on ultra. Should I upgrade or save until 500-600$?

If you're happy with the performance now then wait.

Why upgrade to something now that you don't need? You'd be better off to wait until you NEED a new card and by then even the $300 card will be much better than the current $300 cards.

The new generation of Nvidia and AMD GPUs will be out this year if you are happy with the performance you should at least wait for them. If not you can get the 7950 boost :)

I have a 6870(which is as fast as yours), im waiting for the new AMD 9xxx series which will launch later this year. I want to upgrade too, but right now i run almost any game on ultra/high anyway. since you run your games on ultra too, then waiting would be the best choice. But thats just my opinion.
