I have recently been looking to replace my awful Creative 2.1 speakers I got at argos for £30, and I have my eyes set on the Qpad QH 90 Headset, after briefly considering the Corsair Vengeance 1500. My qustion is, would a decent soundcard significantly improve gaming sound over my current integrated realtek crap when used with the QH 90s? If so, how would the Creative Soundblaster Z do, as Amazon UK are selling an OEM version for about £50 ($74) without the fancy cover and mic.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It would depend on the quality of the realtek chip and the headphones. My parents laptop have a terrible realtek chip, where as my dells chip is older but is far better (my laptop was worth far far more and isnt much older), It would defiantly give you some for of boost in quality and with that head set it should be notice able. As long as you have the space an cash I would say go for it.
