Hello. I'm buying a gaming rig, and have chosen most of the parts:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770k
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 680
POWER: Corsair AX750 80 plus
MEMORY: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600mhz
STORAGE: Samsung 840 Pro 128 GB SSD
I'd like to get the ASUS Rampage Extreme motherboard, but I'm restricted to something that will fit in a mid-tower (or even better, a mini-tower). Space is a greater concern than price.
(Overclocking and future-proofing are not considerations.)
Can anyone suggest a good but small MB? Will cooling and air flow be an issue with a small case?
Also, for future reference, could someone explain how you determine MB size in relation to case size?
