Bought all my parts except for
- i5 3570k
- win 7
- 200mm fan

I'm worried about the CPU having bent pins. What if it gets damaged when I put the coolermaster hyper 212 Evo on? I've heard it's really hard to put on.
And after reading new eggs replacement policy they will NOT accept it back if anything happens. What if its DOA?
Sorry just worried.

I'm wondering if I should purchase the accidental service net replacement policy for $24
Really don't want to but... My fear is getting the better of me.

The cpu will already be in it's socket by the time you go to put the cooler on. You aren't going to bend pins then unless you REALLY tighten one corner vs the others.

Do NOT pay the extra $.

Dude, if it arrives DOA you can send it back.
The installation of a cpu cooler isn't that difficult, just follow the instructions.
Ask someone to help you with it if that comforts you.
