Hey,

Oke, so i have 2 EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 in crossfire. My CCC recognizes them as HD6800. In my CCC there is a function called ''Graphics Overdrive'' with wich i can change my clocksettings. Normally they are set at gpu - 790Mhz and memory - 1000Mhz. I play games like bf3 and such and was wondering if increasing these numbers will improve the performance or help my pc overall. If they do, how do i know how far i can go and what is safe? Or should i use another program or way to overclock my videocards if needed?

Furthermore, I'm running have w7 64x and have a i5 2500k. I can give any info needed.

Here is a screen of my CCC with the overdrive. http://i.imgur.com/3tu420G.png

I have a single HD6850 by XFX. I'm not sure if its the best software for overclocking but I just wanted a basic boost! I used CCC to OC it. Defaults are 775MHz core and 1000MHz memory on my card. I managed to get the core to 875 stable with good temps. 875MHz was CCC's overclocking limit for my card. As for memory I managed to get up to 1175MHz which appears to be the stable limit of my card without changing voltages which CCC appears not to allow. I used a program called "Furmark" to test stability. Run this for a while and look for consistant freezing of the graphic, flashes or other artifacts. When i put the memory clock higher than 1175 I get lines across the screen on furmark. Of course you need to watch temps when overclocking as well. My card has a different cooler to yours so don't overclock it by the same values. You will have to find the safe values for your cards. Also your system is different and your crossfire configuration will effect stability. I overclocked in 25MHz steps core, then memory. monitoring stability and temps at each step. I'm not a overclocking expert but thats how I did it on my 6850 through CCC! Hope this helped. good luck!
