Hello tech-savvy people! I built my first computer about a 1 1/2 years ago. However, I feel as if I need to upgrade, because I feel as if I am not fast enough. Yet, I could be totally wrong and just have a need for speed. Below are my minimum computer specifications.

Motherboard - ***I have no idea how to find this out.***
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
CPU - Intel i5-2500k @ 3.30GHz
RAM - 16gb (I am general here, because I know I do not need more RAM.)

Let me know if you need any other information.

If I was you, I would be replacing your graphics card with a 7970/GTX 670. Google how to find your motherboard model and post it in here. Also, what spec is your power supply?

There's still not a significant upgrade to the i5-2500k, so don't bother with a new CPU. Graphics card could probably use an upgrade.

If your motherboard supports overclocking, you might consider an upgraded cooler and bumping it to 4+GHZ.
