Hello, i will try to make this short and responsive.

I'm a gamer who rly needs a new PC because my current one is crap.
Onto the actual build :

I7 3770K
GTX 690
8GB ram 2400Mhz or 1600Mhz
ASROCK z77 EXTREME4
Nox URANOS VX 750W
Samsung 250GB 840series SSD

is this setup compatible? is there any setup better/equal but cheaper?

Approximate Purchase Date: Dunno rly.

Budget Range: ~2000
System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, livestreaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any website that sells it for a good price and that i can trust.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - too Portugal, Santarem, riachos

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire:No

Your Monitor Resolution:1920x1080

Additional Comments: 2monitors, somewhat quiet,i don't rly wanna have a energy bill of 1000euro each month so i would like to know a better power supply.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My games run choppy and laggy.

Thanks.

Get a better PSU. (Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic.)

Just get 1600mhz RAM. No real difference

Get an i5. It is identical to an i7 in gaming.

Get the Samsung 840 PRO SSD. The non-PROs are slow.

well it seems that you want a really high end rig.
i build one half a year ago spend around + $2600 and i regret it. had a 7year old hp that i trashed.
i7 k,16gs of 1866 ddr3, kingston 240gs ssd, phantom full tower case, 2x 2tb WD hhds, duo gtx 680 evga, asus sound card, blueray, and a asus 27'' nvidia 3d ready monitor."3d that i dont really use"
i ended up building a system for my bro a month ago.
i3 , 7850 hd, 2x2gb 1600 ddr3, antec power case and psu.hp 21'' monitor 1600x 900
all for less than 800 usd.
and bioshock infinite is sick on that i3, ofcourse not as awsome as my phantom but it hangs
the same with BF3, startcraft, avp that i play the most.
i feel that i could have build an i3 system that would have meet my needs perfectly and save 1800 bucks.
most "not all" ppl that build high end rigs dont really use their full potencial, and i feel kind of dumb when i see that what i use my phantom the most is
a browser and utorrent. :(  kind of lame when u pay 1800 for bragging rights.
im not saying not to build a kickass system just think about what u are going to really be using that pc for and if ur just buying componets that are overkill for ur use.

Hello, i kinda agree with you but... i'm gonna be using my PC too livestream do 3D editing probably.
i want that PC too play games with atleast 60fps in the next 3-4years.
I know it's kinda overkill but i see myself using it. rly don't wanna spend more than the actual 1700-2000 it's gonna cost me. Also, i will be upgrading it. Once i get it, i will save more money to buy a new SSD so i'll have 2 SSD's of 129GB. That space is enough for coz i was never a guy of filling up my harddrive quickly but i may buy a 2TB 7200RPM coz i want to do videos with DXTORY.

Thx for reply!

Hi AnyOnePT!

If you'll do a lot of 3D editing, I'd suggest you put more into your ram and go 16GB, as this will drastically speed up performance.

And yes, you would want to change the power supply to a more reputable brand. SeaSonic is the most reliable. XFX, Antec, Corsair are trustworthy too.

Thinking on upgrading too 16gb ram in the future coz i'm not going to do 3D editing just yet.
Also can somebody tell me where to order it or if i should go to shops that sell this products?

Hi rockett1998!

I would seriously suggest you start a new thread. :)

That said, you can play those games but not at the high/highest detail.

What is that check list you used in the opening details? It's really crappy.

I'd better add something -

Not real sure about the SSD, althouth a regular sata hdd is a bit slow to boot (an extra 3 seconds), it does hold a lot more volume. Games are particular memory hungry. I'd go with a 1TB SATA hdd and a spare 1TB hdd for storage of downloads, movies, music, pictures etc.

Most games and programs do prefer to be installed and located on the OS drive, much of the data is still on it even if you install to a different location like a second drive. Most often you see references in Application Data folder and in Documents folder.

ye ye i know but i've been using laptops with low space for years, and i will be upgrading too 1more SSD and a 1TB hard drive.
One question guys, i'm worried about my case not being big enough for the airflow or for the pieces itself

You can run any OS on low volume,it's the apps that you use and games that you play that uses up memory space.
Hard drives only take up the space in the holders, it's the video cards that take more room.

PcPartPicker is quite good, it will tell you if the parts picked are not compatible.

You need a pair of ram, not just one stick, you may experience lagging with only one. The motherboard is dual channel architecture.

The 625 watt PSU is not enough for the rig, consider about 750 watts, that Nox Uranos seems very good -

"don't rly wanna have a energy bill of 1000euro each month "
As AMD Radeon suggested inm his post - "well try replace this Nox URANOS VX 750W with Corsair TX 750 V2"

Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD 24-bit 96 KHz Sound Card - is it really necessary? If you are only gaming and not doing much of anything else, onboard audio out to an amplifier with speakers is way much better sound and you get extra volume from the amplifier.

If this is a gaming rig, you'd be better off with an i5 motherboard.

Well, ok.. then what kinda of sound card should i get ? i like to hear dubstep and it's very important to hear everything in games like DayZ etc...

The onboard audio jacks are good enough -

Are you going to use headphones or rely on speakers?

If you want the sound card that's fine, the Creative Labs is a good brand. It also allows other options as well.

With i7 CPU, you don't get good performance in games.

i don't rly know the diference between i7 and i5 tbh.... but is it that big.. the diference?
and i want to buy a Steelseries Siberia V2 probably will have speakers too, in case headset brokes or anything.
i'm gonna post a link with the updated list in a sec.

Edit :

Do you guys recommend me a gaming monitor with 1920x1080 native resolution 60Hz 22inch for less then 150euro?
and since my motherboard has 4slots for ram then i should get 4x2GB ram right?
