Okay so I've struggled with trying to get this to work for the past few hours and it is just getting frustrating...
I bought an HDMI cord earlier today with the hopes of connecting it to my computer and being able to watch movies or something on the TV off of my computer. I have a nVidia GTX 670 graphics card with one monitor (1920x1080) hooked up to it at the moment. I noticed it had an HDMI slot as well so I decided to give that a shot! But, when I plugged it in to the TV absolutely nothing happened. I have spent hours looking at forums and messing around with the settings and it appears Windows 7 recognizes the separate monitor and I can change all the resolution settings like normal, yet my TV still displays the "No Signal!" message. What in the world am I doing wrong here? I feel like I've tried to apply every setting possible. Also the HDTV is a Vizio with a larger resolution than my desktop if that helps anything.
