If I replace an intel e5200 (800 mgz fsb) with an intel e8400 (1333 mgz fsb) will it work? Will the cpu operate at the slower buss speed? Mobo is gateway dx4270 with 800 mgz fsb speed. Also, how do I update the bios when the existing cpu (the e5200) is dead? It was run for three years with the cpu fan duct completely blocked off. Gateway specs say it will run the core2 duo chip but I don't know about the buss speed or bios. Need help/ info. please! Thanks
