I've been looking to upgrade my Laptop RAM and I'm not completely sure which is the best upgrade for my system.

Currently: 4GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 (2 x 2GB)

I found an 8GB (2x4GB) Crucial Memory which is compatible with my Clevo W170ER for £53.99

http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=A952FF2FA5CA7304

I'm quite a Gamer (I play games: BF3, CoH2, Tomb Raider, Bioshock etc..)

Current System Spec:

Windows 7 Ultimate

Intel i7 3610QM (2.3GHz)

4GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 (2 x 2GB)

1024MB GDDR5 GT650M:

So would this be the best Upgrade for my system?

Yes, upgrading the memory is best when it comes to overall performance boost but for better gaming try getting a good GPU but i'm not sure if you can upgrade your GPU. :mouais:

Yep, the kingston HyperX memory looks good. If you are in US then try getting it from crucial or this one - http://www.memorystock.com/orderitem.asp?it=868ms-868.

Hope that helps.

Yes, the above memory looks good and it is compatible. Adding more ram is probably the better way of increasing your overall system performance and it does add some boost to the gaming but not that much when compared with a good GPU. I'm not sure if you can upgrade your GPU, so i'm stuck there!!:mouais: You can ask around.

If you are in the US then try getting it from crucial, kingston or this retailer - Click here!!
