I am running an AMD 1090t BE X6 with the Corsair Hydrocool H70 model, CPU temps are low since I don't overclock, idle is around 20c and max load is 30c if that. I have been thinking of getting the FX-8350 processor and I am wondering if my current CPU cooler will keep it cool enough.

I don't even plan on overclocking at all, but I don't want to spend 200$ on a CPU that won't stay cool and then have to spend another 100$ on the H80 or H100 cooler.

The 8350 is a good upgrade from the old phenoms, if ur friend will give u a good price on ur 1090t id do it, and yes that cooler will work great with a 8350, its still a 125watt cpu and i dont think you'll see a huge difference from the two with the same cooler, if anything 1-3 degrees difference or even the same temps

Edit: Yes a overclocked x6 can beat out or compare to a stock 8350 but then again changes to the matter of overclocking, how much u can get for ur cpu, and if u use the two extra cores from the fx 8 core
