I recently got a new EVGA Geforce GTX 460, but when i install it and try to power on the computer nothing happens, the CPU fan twitches that is all. the system works fine without the card. Here are the specs

System Manufacturer: Advent

System Model: DT1404

BIOS: BIOS Date: 09/22/11 15:06:34 Ver: 04.06.04

Processor: Intel Pentium CPU G620 @ 2.60GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz

Memory: 4GB RAM

OS: Windows 7 home premium

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

Solution
Hardware failure, definitely..
Your card has faulty regulator (VRM = Voltage Modulator Module)..

maybe burn, or defective..

Check your card, open the heatsink, and check, whether there are burn mark below the mosfet heatsink..

How to fix it..?
Of course, you have to search same type regulator with your card..and solder it..
