I am a noob when it comes to PC and im going to buy one this week. I have been lookng at many diffrent PC's and i think i found one i like. The specs are i5-3570k , Gainward GTX 680, 16GB Crucial BallistiX Sport and Corsair CX 750M. The only thing i dont know what to do is decide from is the 2 motherboards MSI Z77A-G43 and MSI Z77A-GD55. The only thing i know is diffrent about these 2 is that the GD55 supports SLI while the G43 doesnt. Are there any other major diffrences or is the GD43 a good and safe motherboard?

Solution
The G43 has lower OC capability than the GD55, because the power section design. But as long as you don't OC the i5 to limit like 5GHz then you will be fine. Most time you OC to 4-4.5 GHz that is more than enough.
So if you don't need sli and clock to 5GHz, then the G43 is good and safe to buy, other wise get the GD55.
