Hi,
I had a working computer, but then I installed a cpu fan. Afterwards my dram led on the Asus Sabertooth X58 mobo went off. So I did some testing, and it turns out that only every other ram channel won't take my RAM.
Let's call the RAM slots on the mobo S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6. If I put all the RAM in, it won't boot, and the dram led light is on. When I put Ram in S1, S3, S5, it works. If I put Ram in S2, S4, S6, the dram led is on. I've mixed and match the Ram, so I don't think it's the Ram but the motherboard.
I can't remember if I may have disconnected something on the mobo when installing the fan. I'm not sure if I damaged the mobo while installing the fan, but I hear they are pretty durable so I don't think so. I tried the MemOK but it doesn't work on S2, S4, S6.

6 x 2gb of ram
Corsair 750W
