Current PC specs:
Memory: 5120MB DDR3, Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 220 Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 210(this is what i want to upgrade from) 220w psu,Mobo: Nivida nforce 720a(this mobo is oem locked so CPU overclocking isn't an option).
Also if the 7750 will not work with this setup can you recommend a gaming card capable of working with this setup.

You are on your limit with 220W PSU. I don't want to take a risk running discrete card (even it doesn't need 6 pin power connector) on that PSU...

Are you recommending I upgrade my psu as-well?

Nope, for this 7750 it will work on your PSU although your PSU is on it's limit. 7750 is a very efficient card, so as long as you aren't overclocking then it's good to go... :)
