Hi, I am planning on upgrading my old pc (Casual Gamer), but I am on a tight budget. I'm currently using

Dual core E5200 2.50Ghz
3Gb ram
GA-G41M-Combo Motherboard
GeForce® GT 630 (2048MB DDR3)
Psu 600watts

I usually play on low-medium settings on 1280x720 or 1360x768 resolutions. But It would be nice to play on high, so I was thinking Which would be a better upgrade

1. Gigabyte B75m-d3v+Intel Core i3-3220 and stick with the gt 630 or
2. Hd7850 Videocard 1gb-256bit Pcie Ddr5/Gtx650ti Videocard 2gb-128bit Pcie Ddr5

Which of the 2 could improve FPS. Also this would be my First time upgrading since I only got the Pc as a Gift. and fell inlove with gaming

Thanks.

Option one would be better for you. Your video card could be upgraded later, but upgrading your mobo and processor now, and preferably some more ram, would prevent bottlenecking the most at the moment.

No, I don't think so. If you are looking for future-proofing, then Intel is your best bet, with the 1155 socket you can get up to an i7. Going the Intel i3 route will ensure you being able to upgrade further. ATM, AMD can hardly keep up with top of the line gaming i5's, let alone an i7.

Alright, About the more RAM thing, so I'd need to get win 7 64bit to Use the 8gb I also purchased, since 32bit can only use bout 3-3.5gb ram right?
