actually the 27inch is a pls which is better than ips
Im not a hardcore gamer but i game a lot on the weekends. so the 27 inches is welcomed. there is a 27 inch version of ther 144hz monitor but if i went 27 inch 1080p i would get a benq.

If you want a bigger screen that will look bigger with higher resolution, get the expensive one.
If you would rather use a small monitor with just the enough amount of resolution it needs and want things to run much smoother on your screen get the cheap one.
If I were you, I would get the inexpensive one since you're going to be close to the screen (if you are not a console gamer). And because that is 27' inch, you will hardly notice the difference between 1080p and 4k, but you WILL notice a humongous difference between 120hz and 60hz.

The choice is yours, be smart. :p
