i'm getting one soon, and wanted to know if it supports the intel i5 3570k cpu.
Also, does it support 3 way SLI, or just 2 way? Thanks~

Solution
Yes; it supports Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 and any other LGA1155 socket CPUs. And no, it does not support 3-way SLI. However, it does support 2-way and 4-way SLI.

Its bigger brother, the ASRock Z77 Extreme6 does support 1- to 4-way SLI. (Bad terminology, I know)

It supports the i5-3570K (which I will be upgrading to soon) and only supports 2-way SLI because it only has 2 PCIe slots.
Edit: If you want 3-way SLI, get the Extreme 3 (which is better in almost every respect, just has 2 less SATA ports, which is no big for me).

4 way, hmm?
I thought there was only 2 way SLI config. I see 4 slots, but only 2 look like PCI :L

*edit*
Ah, my mistake. I'm so stuck behind in the past, forgot newer cards support PCI 3.0.

Thanks anyway~

There is one PCIe x1, two PCI, and two PCIe 3.0 slots. With the two PCIe 3.0 slots, you can do 2-way SLI or 4-way SLI. For example, the NVIDIA GTX 690 is, by itself, a SLI. It is a SLI of two GTX 680 in one PCB. So if you put two of them together, you get a 4-way SLI.

You probably missed it, but as I've edited in, the Extreme6 can handle 2-, 3-, and 4-way SLI.

Ah; thanks for the help. May grab an extreme6 instead, and upgrade to 2 or 3 GTX 660 ti's along the way.

Comparison of some of the Extreme motherboards: here. If you want to go 3-way SLI, you can get the Extreme 3 for much cheaper than the Extreme 6. Note, one slot will be at 2.0, but 3.0 with most cards only offers a 1-5% bonus in performance on average. Just Google search and you can find the information yourself :)
