Case will be on a flat desk surface so I have no idea if the fan on the PSU should face the bottom anyway or if I should have it face up in the cAse. Or face Down and just leave the end off the desk a little so it gets some air?

Doesn't matter. There is NO wrong way to mount the PSU. I personally prefer the PSU mounted with the fan facing down so it gets access to its own fresh air supply instead of using air that's already in the case.

I prefer to have the PSU fan, in a bottom mount, to be pulling air from the bottom.

1. Let the PSU fan do its own thing - cooling the PSU
2. No chance for an errant screw to fall into the PSU through the fan grill

Yeah I prefer it down like that too. But how would it pull air in when the bottom of the case is on my desk? There's no breathing room there is there?

The tower has no stands? Not even a little gap?

Just checked, the case has these "feet" at the PSU location. I didn't see them from the front. It provides a little more then half a inch of space between the case and floor.
Facing down it is then!
Thanks

The case has feet, right?
1/4" or 0.5cm is plenty space to pull enough air.
