Need help about a burnt HDD

In 2006, I took my HDD out of the system unit. When I returned it back in, I accidentally inserted the cables wrongly. And when I switched my pc on, the HDD was damaged by the power.

How can I fix it, is there any company that cann do this??

Its so urgent.....

Assuming just the control board burned you can find an identical model on Ebay and replace the board. Or find a data recovery company and pay them a small fortune.

The cables only go in one way and CAN'T be accidently inserted so I really have no idea what you did. Or why you waited 7 years? Lol

I might say it was not completely an accident. There were some other external factors. by the way, thanx a lot. I waited this long coz everybody I have asked has told me that it is almost impossible to recover anyfn from that HDD. But i still believe I can...

its still likely you can but waiting this long has diminished your chances. Bearing do seize up even while sitting, hdd heads corrode/tarnish, platters loose their magnetic charge slowly so that may be a factor also.
